Sharia Accounting Study Program FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Conducts Internal Quality Audit

Yogyakarta, June 20, 2024 — Sharia Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta conducted an Internal Quality Audit (IQA) focusing on the implementation of research and community service activities. This initiative is part of the program's commitment to enhancing academic quality and community engagement.
The audit was attended by several key officials from FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Acting Dean of FEBI, Dr. Sunaryati, M.Si, was present to open and oversee the audit process. Also in attendance were Head of the Sharia Accounting Study Program, Rosyid Nur Anggara Putra, M.Si, and Secretary of the Sharia Accounting Study Program, Dwi Marlina Wijayanti, M.Sc.
The audit was carried out by two experienced auditors, Dr. Esti Wahyu Widowati, M.Si, and Proborini Hastuti, M.H. Their task was to evaluate the extent to which the research and community service activities conducted by the Sharia Accounting Study Program align with university standards and their relevance and impact on the broader community.
In her opening remarks, Dr. Sunaryati, M.Si, emphasized the significance of the internal quality audit in ensuring that the program not only fulfills its academic responsibilities but also makes tangible contributions to society through research and community service. “This audit is a crucial step in ensuring that the quality of research and community engagement by the Sharia Accounting Study Program continues to improve and meets established standards,” she stated.
Rosyid Nur Anggara Putra, M.Si, added that the audit results would serve as a foundation for future improvements and development of the program. “We are committed to continuously enhancing the quality of our research and community service, and the findings from this audit will help us identify areas for improvement,” he said.
Dr. Esti Wahyu Widowati, M.Si, one of the auditors, commended the proactive steps taken by the Sharia Accounting Study Program. She noted that the audit serves not only as an evaluation tool but also as a means to provide constructive feedback for improving academic quality and community services.
Through this internal quality audit, the Sharia Accounting Study Program, FEBI, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta aims to continuously refine and enhance its quality, thereby making greater contributions both academically and in community engagement.
