The Sharia Accounting Study Program UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta conducted a follow-up audit on the findings of the Internal Quality Audit (IQA) in the areas of Research and Community Service. The audit aimed to assess the effectiveness of improvements and actions taken in response to previous audit recommendations, ensuring that the program continues to comply with established quality standards.

The audit was attended by various stakeholders, including Head of the Sharia Accounting Study Program, Sofyan Hadinata, S.E., M.Sc., Ak., CA, Secretary of the Sharia Accounting Study Program, Furqonul Haq, M.E.I, Quality Control Officer, Risya Khaerunnisa, S.E., M.Sc, and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Sunaryati, S.E., M.Si. The lead auditor for this activity was Reza Mina Pahlewi, M.A., who has extensive experience in academic quality audits.

The audit process included document reviews, discussions, and clarifications regarding the implementation of corrective actions, as well as an evaluation of the program's commitment to improving the quality of research and community service. Findings from the previous audit were revisited, and corrective actions were assessed to ensure their effectiveness.

Sofyan Hadinata, S.E., M.Sc., Ak., CA, stated that the follow-up audit is part of the program’s commitment to continuously improve the quality of education and services provided to students and the community. "We strive to ensure that all recommendations from previous audits are implemented effectively, thereby maintaining the quality of research and service in our study program,” he said.

The results of this follow-up audit will serve as a reference for future policy and strategy development, enabling the Sharia Accounting Study Program to address challenges in continuous quality improvement.
