Dosen Akuntansi Syariah UIN Sunan Kalijaga Berpartisipasi dalam The 11th International Management and Accounting Conference (IMAC 11, 2024)

Yogyakarta — Two lecturers from the Sharia Accounting Study Program UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Dwi Marlina Wijayanti, M.Sc, and Galuh Tri Pambekti, M.E.K, participated in The 11th International Management and Accounting Conference (IMAC 11, 2024), held on July 27-28, 2024, at the Courtyard by Marriott Melaka, Malaysia. This prestigious international conference served as a significant platform for academics and practitioners worldwide to exchange ideas and present the latest research in management and accounting.
IMAC 11 carried the central theme of the latest challenges and innovations in global accounting and management. The event was attended by experts, academics, and researchers from various countries gathering to discuss critical issues relevant to the changing dynamics of international economics and business.
Dwi Marlina Wijayanti and Galuh Tri Pambekti presented their research findings on the development of Sharia accounting in Indonesia, particularly in the context of digital technology adoption and Sharia financial innovation. “We are honored to participate in such a significant academic forum. This is an opportunity to introduce our research on Sharia accounting in Indonesia to the international academic community,” said Dwi Marlina.
Galuh Tri Pambekti added, “Through this conference, we gained new insights from global perspectives to be applied to the development of Sharia accounting in Indonesia. We also hope to build international collaborative networks for future research.”
The Rector of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Prof. Dr. Phil. Al Makin, expressed his appreciation for the participation of the two lecturers. “Participation in international conferences like IMAC 11 is crucial for strengthening UIN Sunan Kalijaga's position in the global academic community and enhancing the quality of research and education in Sharia accounting,” he explained.
IMAC 11 is a prestigious conference that provides a platform for academics to share knowledge about the latest trends in management and accounting. With the participation of the two lecturers from UIN Sunan Kalijaga, it is hoped that the insights gained will enrich the curriculum and research at FEBI and strengthen Indonesia's position in international Sharia accounting studies.
