On May 15, 2024, a benchmarking activity was conducted by Sharia Accounting Study Program, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung to Sharia Accounting Study Program, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The event was attended by Head of the Sharia Accounting Study Program, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Mia Lasmi Wardiyah, S.P., M.Ag, CPRM, and Secretary of Sharia Accounting Study Program, Fithri Dzikrayah, M.E.Sy. They were warmly welcomed by Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Dr. Ahmad Salehudin, MA, and Head of the Sharia Accounting Study Program UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Rosyid Nur Anggara Putra, M.Si.

This benchmarking initiative aimed to enhance the quality and performance of the Sharia Accounting Study Programs at both universities through the exchange of information and experiences in academic management, curriculum development, and teaching methodologies. Additionally, the meeting served as a platform to discuss potential collaborations in research and community engagement.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Ahmad Salehudin emphasized the significance of inter-university collaboration in advancing the quality of Sharia Accounting education. Meanwhile, Mia Lasmi Wardiyah expressed her hope that the insights gained from this benchmarking activity could be implemented to improve the quality of their program.

The event concluded with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU), symbolizing a commitment to ongoing and future collaboration between the two institutions.
